TAKUROMAN is participating in the "3rd Contemporary Japanese Artists Exhibition" currently held at Nishiyama Museum in Machida City, Tokyo.
On Wednesday, September 20, I visited the venue, and here is a report.

I took a taxi from Tsurukawa Station on the Odakyu Line to Nishiyama Museum.

The poster for the "3rd Contemporary Japanese Artists Exhibition" displayed at the entrance.

Inside the museum, works by Utrillo and Rodin, as well as precious stones, are exhibited.
This time, the venue is next to the Utrillo exhibition area on the 3rd floor.

Here are TAKUROMAN’s exhibited works.

Below are the titles and descriptions of the works.

— Fig Leaf —
Men and women, tempted by a serpent, ate the forbidden fruit and fell to earth. Their descendants, humans, are weak to temptation, and curiosity sometimes turns into desire, crossing a line.
Desire is also power. Wanting to eat delicious food, wanting to travel, wanting to be with loved ones, wanting to own something, wanting to become something, etc.
You achieve things by borrowing the power of desire. However, no matter how much you acquire, it is only for this world. Things, money, even your own body.
So, can you take nothing to the afterlife? No, just as God, in His mercy, clothed Adam and Eve in garments of skin, there must be something you can take.
I don’t know what it is. But you, full of curiosity and desire, will surely find it.

Here is a video of the entire exhibition.

I had tea with someone who came to visit during my time at the museum. It was a very elegant time.

The day’s events are also introduced in a video.

Visitors to Nishiyama Museum will receive a limited edition postcard (100 copies).

That’s all.

The exhibition runs until Sunday, October 1. If you have time, please stop by.
