TAKUROMAN will participate in the "DIGITOMA 2022" art fair, held in Nara City, Nara Prefecture, from December 23 (Fri) to December 27 (Tue), 2022, and will unveil a new art piece. The work will be exhibited at the historic Fujima Family Residence in Nara City, the satellite venue "Nanigotoya" in Osaka, and a 360° VR gallery on a special website and YouTube (provided by NFTown). This marks TAKUROMAN's first participation in this event.

This time, TAKUROMAN was inspired by the concept of "under renovation" at the Fujima Family Residence and created a work with the theme of "a continuously changing story."
"Narrative Friends Talking"

Unexpected events, sudden encounters.
Something changes in the story
every time you wish and move.
It's like a living thing.
A grand spectacle that unfolds freely
in response to ever-changing situations.
Now, tell your story, where you are the protagonist.
Don't worry, other protagonists are with you.

*Narrative = story, storytelling. A term meaning a story where the narrator themselves is the protagonist.

What is DIGITOMA 2022?
It is an art fair primarily featuring VR gallery projections, held at the historic Fujima Family Residence in Nara City and the satellite venue "Nanigotoya" in Osaka. The purpose of the project is to support artists during the COVID-19 pandemic and preserve cultural properties/resources. Over 60 creators of all genres will exhibit and sell their works in a virtual exhibition space. The participating artists' works range from those inspired by the Fujima Family Residence and the land of Nara to those based on the artists' unique themes. During the exhibition period, projection exhibitions and live events by artists will be held at both venues, and a 360° VR gallery (provided by NFTown) will be open on a special website and YouTube. Sales from works and goods, and paid live event streaming at both venues, will be used to cover the preservation costs of the Fujima Family Residence and will be returned to the artists as activity funds.
