From November 8 (Tue) to November 12 (Sat), TAKUROMAN's work "Kanjitai, Netsuryo" was exhibited at the 30th International Peace Art Exhibition (organized by Qualiart Inc.) held at Gallery 1 & 2 on the 5th floor of Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.
This exhibition is the domestic showing of the exhibition held at UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in Paris in June. (Exhibition details:

The work expresses the importance of "human passion," which was re-felt amidst calls for social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic gradually subsides, it was good to exhibit it again to remember those feelings.
The opening reception was held on the first day, and I attended. The venue was Hotel Metropolitan Ikebukuro.
It had been a while since an event of this scale was held due to the impact of COVID-19, but it seems it was a grand gathering this time.
I had my picture taken with President Kushida and the bandura player, Kateryna.
Thank you to everyone who attended, and to the organizers and all involved.
