Reading time: 2 minutes

On Sunday, October 15 at 6:00 PM, TAKUROMAN performed digital live painting at the opening ceremony of the "Omoiyari Exhibition" held in front of Shimokitazawa Station.

Despite the unexpected rain starting to fall, with the lively MC by Curry-man, the mascot of the Shimokitazawa Curry Festival, and the dedicated support from the event staff, I focused on the digital painting.

During the live paint, I explored the theme that the means of conveying "feelings" have changed over time, that everyone expresses and communicates their feelings daily, and essentially, everyone is an artist.

Although I couldn’t complete the entire piece within the 12-minute limit, I believe I was able to interpret and express the exhibition’s theme of "bringing art closer to people" in my own way.

I later learned from photos that the staff were diligently holding umbrellas for me. Thank you very much to the organizers, everyone who supported me, and Mr. Tanikawa from "Kohaze Coffee," who drew the first lot.

By the way, on the pager screen in the artwork, I wrote "084-14106-". Those familiar with the pager culture of that time will understand it reads as "Ohayo - Aishiteru -" (Good morning - I love you -). I extended the "ru" to match Curry-man’s tone of voice, "Roux" (laughs).

Anyway, I painted with single-minded devotion.

Thank you to everyone who watched in the rain.

Here is the finished work from the live painting.

This is the completed artwork image after the live painting on that day.

I think I will be able to announce the NFT conversion soon.
Please wait a little longer.

The opening ceremony, reception, and live painting were also featured on the Shimokitazawa information site "Shimoburo," so please take a look.
