Reading time: 2 minutes

TAKUROMAN will hold his first-ever exhibition, “Anohitogomi wa, Takaramono Datta,” from Tuesday, November 2 to Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the hair salon Lounge in Yokohama (Southwood 2F, 6-1 Chigasaki Chuo, Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture). Through this exhibition, he expresses the value of people gathering—a realization that has become even clearer during the COVID-19 pandemic—through his art.

The exhibition is curated by Fancy Art (2-14-8 Chuo, Kamagaya City, Chiba Prefecture), whose concept is “enriching people’s hearts by bringing art closer to them, like fashion.” The 16 artworks are boldly arranged to complement the stylish interior of Lounge.

Please note that you can view the exhibition free of charge without receiving any hair services.

This is my first exhibition, and I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Shitaoka, owner of Hair Club Paris Co., Ltd., the operating company of Lounge, for giving me this opportunity.
Also, I extend my sincere thanks to Mr. Naito, representative of Fancy Art, who curated the exhibition, for his tremendous efforts from the planning stage to the setup. Thank you very much.
And to all of you who always support me, thank you very much.

An artist’s activities, such as building roads or transmitting radio waves, are not usually directly useful to society. However, by expressing themselves, they can make people realize something about their way of thinking.
This first exhibition was a major event for me, and at the same time, I wanted to convey the importance of human relationships that became evident during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am glad that I was able to give it a form.

If you are in the Yokohama area, please come and see it.
