In July 2021, a project where 36 artists collaborated to create a single NFT artwork called #36FUJI gained major attention when the completed piece was sold for 3.4568 ETH (approximately 1.3 million yen at the time).
Following #36FUJI 2022, the third installment of the project, #3600YAKO, has now launched and preparations are underway. This innovative project involves 36 artists each drawing yokai in their unique style to create a digital picture scroll.
TAKUROMAN participated as a selected artist in #36FUJI, #36FUJI2022, and is also involved in #3600YAKO.
After careful consideration, #3600YAKO announced a policy to adopt "free minting," a recent trend, as the basic approach. Yesterday, a campaign distributing allowlists (priority rights to receive NFTs) began.
A Twitter campaign also started simultaneously. In addition to the official 3600YAKO account, each artist holds distribution rights and is announcing the campaign individually.
TAKUROMAN’s account has received a strong response with 211 likes, 191 retweets, and 45 comments within about 24 hours of the campaign launch.
36 artists each drawing yokai in their own style—this is a fun project unique to Japan.
Here is the list of participating artists.
Please look forward to future developments!
