SBINFT Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Toku Takanaga), with the vision of "creating the school closest to society in the world," is collaborating with Vantan Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) to announce a joint project between the 9th ASIA FASHION COLLECTION and nanakusa certified artists.
In this project, collaborative NFT artworks by the six brands that won the right to participate in New York Fashion Week at the 9th ASIA FASHION COLLECTION (AFC) and nanakusa certified artists will be sold on the nanakusa NFT marketplace from January 21st (Fri). Concurrently, the works will be exhibited from the same day in a special exhibition venue in the virtual space (metaverse) "Cryptovoxels."

Concept of TAKUROMAN x COCOTONO Collaboration Works
COCOTONO's concept for this collection, "lol (laugh of little)," focuses on the amusing moment of a chuckle when noticing something unusual in everyday life. In addition to this concept, they have announced eight styles based on individually set themes. Based on COCOTONO's concept, TAKUROMAN set the concept as "life w/ lol (a life full of chuckles = discoveries). " In contrast to COCOTONO, which highlighted the amusement of noticing everyday incongruities, TAKUROMAN's theme was discoveries over a relatively longer time axis.
For example, in the work "Awai Koigokoro," inspired by COCOTONO's "KANPAAI," bubbles meet and fall in love at the moment of a toast, then disappear like bubbles. However, the lingering feeling suggests that the passionate emotions will not be forgotten even after the moment passes. (See Work Introduction 5.)

About TAKUROMAN
Driven by a lifelong dream, TAKUROMAN enrolled in a manga school at age 35, where he learned drawing techniques directly from Mae Takakuwa, author of the influential book "Human Figure Croquis." His works are based on drawing accidental shapes colored intuitively and are nearly impossible to reproduce identically.
