TAKUROMAN has been chosen as a second-term official artist for the NFT platform “nanakusa.” He plans to release new works periodically moving forward.
NFTs are digital assets that use blockchain technology to provide an uncopyable, one-of-a-kind certificate, essentially serving as the “original artwork” for digital creations.
We are pleased to announce that TAKUROMAN has already dropped two pieces on nanakusa.
Work ①: "In a Dream, Always Searching for Something."
In a dream, I am always searching for something. I don’t know what it is. It feels like something very precious that I left behind when I was a child. If I could obtain it, could I say I have achieved the purpose of my life? But when I got a good score on a test, I was praised, yet I felt I had to try even harder next time. So even if I were to obtain it, would it just be another milestone along the way?

Work ②: "That Crowd Was a Treasure."
Social distancing is now the norm, telecommuting has become everyday life, and transparent partitions are set up in restaurants, reducing close human contact. The once bothersome hustle, heat, and close proximity of crowds now feel like irreplaceable experiences. Will those days ever return?
