TAKUROMAN participated in "gespo☆Party 2022," a large-scale event themed "e-sports and good future," held in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, on October 29 (Sat.) and 30 (Sun.), 2022.
During the opening act on the 30th, five cosplayers played a total of seven songs on Taiko Drum Master, and TAKUROMAN created a live painting piece to accompany their performance.
This was my first time participating in an e-sports event, so I gave it a lot of thought.
Why was it necessary to do live painting?
What should I convey through it?
After thinking about these things, I expressed the theme I arrived at in my work.
"The World Without Unreasonable Losers"
A game has certain rules.
Everyone has a chance as long as he or she is good enough.
The world also seems to have certain rules. However, are these rules designed to be fair to everyone?
Are the rules made in favor of someone else?
Are there unreasonable losers as a result?
The blockchain is a tool that holds the promise of true democratization through innovative ideas and technologies.
In fact, the NFT has brought digital creators to a great stage.
The metaverse, where anyone can become anyone in a virtual space, is rapidly beginning to connect the world.
A new world is just around the corner.
A wide, wide world with clear rules and opportunities for everyone.
Now, equip yourself with the weapon of your personality.
