Over time, humans developed various techniques and left behind many masterpieces deemed great achievements. Continuing relentless evolution, at the end of the technological journey awaited an irony. It was a world where humans no longer needed to paint. It paints on your behalf. It is filled with the potential to create works beyond human knowledge. Still, will you paint or not? Do you want to paint, or not? It is your freedom and will as a human. Welcome to the Renaissance. ーーーーーーーーーー This time, I created works themed on the Renaissance, which took place in Florence. Thank you to everyone who came to see them. Both the general visitors to the exhibition venue and the judges evaluate all exhibited works and select various awards. The previous "ART BLEND" exhibition was held in 2020 in Lausanne, Switzerland, where Japanese and European artists competed on the stage of the Olympic city, making it a meaningful exhibition fostering cultural exchange through art. Florence, the stage for this event, is renowned as the birthplace of the Renaissance, and its city museums house many treasures by Renaissance masters. Also, since chapels and palaces are adorned with artworks, it is called "The Museum of Renaissance Culture." In 1982, the "Historic Centre of Florence" was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, and in 1986, it was selected as the European Capital of Culture. The famous Medici family is said to have sparked the flourishing of Renaissance culture in this city. This year marks the 280th anniversary of the death of Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici, the last direct descendant of the Medici family. The exhibition is held at FIRENZE FIERA, which includes the Basso Fortress built by order of the Medici family. An opening ceremony and a Japan-Italy artist exchange meeting are scheduled for the afternoon of the first day.
